The 2024 Ducati DesertX is a purpose-built adventure motorcycle engineered to conquer the most demanding off-road terrain while maintaining Ducati’s signature performance and style. At its heart lies a 937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° L-Twin engine, delivering 113 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm, tuned specifically for off-road responsiveness.

Designed from the ground up for rugged exploration, the DesertX features a dedicated off-road chassis, long-travel suspension, and spoked wheels—21-inch front and 18-inch rear—ideal for tackling rocky trails and desert dunes. With 9.8 inches of ground clearance, an adjustable seat height between 840mm and 860mm, and a dry weight of 214 kg, it balances agility with stability.

The bike is equipped with six Riding Modes, including Enduro and Rally, tailored for off-road conditions, and a suite of advanced electronics: Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Vehicle Hold Control, and even Blind Spot Detection for added safety. The full LED lighting system, Daytime Running Light, and Cornering Lightenhance visibility and style.

Aesthetically, the DesertX draws inspiration from Dakar rally bikes, with a minimalist, rugged design that emphasizes function and durability. The new RR22 livery, inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar racer, complements the classic Star White Silk color scheme.
